1. Lilia Podkopayeva - UKR - 1996 Olympics - Compulsories

This was the best compulsory floor routine in Atlanta. There’s no doubt about it. It’s so perfect, I can’t believe she didn’t get a ten for it. She’s the only one in Atlanta who really sold that routine.

This is why they should bring back compulsories. I’ve said it before that some gymnasts could use some better choreography. If they all had the same choreography, like in the old compulsory routines, we would be able to see who is a naturally gifted dancer and who isn’t.
